NASCAR has not seen a repeat winner of the Daytona 500 in 23 decades, but Kurt Busch will attempt to alter that on Sunday afternoon at Daytona International Speedway at the opening race of this 2019 year (2:30 p.m. ET, Fox, Fox Sports Go). Online streaming will be provided in Spanish and English from Fox Sports Go.

"The prestige, value and history of race and being a part of it over the decades has been unique," Busch said . "Now to return as the defending winner of the Daytona 500 gives me that much more inspiration to do it again and be sure nobody stocks in all of the glory."
To replicate at Daytona, Busch will need to conquer children like Alex Bowman, who won the pole position in his very first race taking over the No. 88 car from the retired Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Chase Elliott, who'll begin in the next row in fourth place.

Denny Hamlin, the 2016 Daytona 500 winner, begins in 2nd place on Sunday.
